About Mossed Hollows

Imagine wandering through a quiet forest just beyond your backyard. Sunlight filters through the trees, moss carpets the ground, and along the woodland floor small hidden landscapes begin to appear — tiny hills, winding paths, and secret places that feel as though they have always been there.

Mossed Hollows was inspired by that sense of quiet discovery.

Founded by Meghan Mannon in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, the studio creates modern botanical artworks using preserved moss, sculpted wood, and natural textures. Each composition is designed to evoke the feeling of stumbling upon a hidden world within the forest — a place where nature and imagination quietly meet.

Every piece begins as an original design developed in the studio. Some remain one-of-a-kind works, while others are carefully recreated from Meghan’s original compositions so these imagined landscapes can be shared more widely.

The result is contemporary moss art that brings texture, color, and a subtle sense of woodland enchantment into modern interiors — gentle reminders that a bit of magic can often be found closer to home than we think.

Because sometimes the most magical places are the ones hidden in plain sight.
